Australian artist Konstantin Dimopoulos is the creator of the blue trees art installations that now extend into all corners of the globe. His purpose – to bring attention to the subject of deforestation. He equates his blue trees to images like pink elephants – a picture you can’t get out of your head. These exhibits are a powerful reminder of the need to protect these providers of oxygen and habitats for so many species and to rethink and redirect our present course and to preserve and protect what’s left of the world’s forests.
